Role Overview
- Develop backend applications with Rails & Node.js
- Maintain and extend existing systems, scaling them for growth
- Think in terms of infrastructure: containers, Kubernetes, cloud (AWS/GCP)
- Take ownership: operations, monitoring & DevOps are part of your responsibilities
- Drive code quality: tests, CI, and monitoring are integral parts of your workflow
- Work in AI-assisted processes built by developers for developers.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience with Ruby on Rails
- Some experience with Node.js, TypeScript and JavaScript
- Strong interest in and experience with LLMs/AI
- Confident with OOP & MVC frameworks
- Critical thinker: you experiment with new approaches, question hype, and prioritize sustainable, high-quality solutions
- Communication: fluent in German & English.
