Content Creator – Volunteer

Role Overview

• Develop and produce authentic social media content drawn from everyday life that relates to consumer issues and real-life circumstances
• Conceptualize and produce video and short-form formats to engage consumers emotionally and substantively
• Present consumer-relevant topics in an accessible, relatable, and identity-forming manner
• Independently record, edit, and prepare content for publishing in accordance with brand and editorial guidelines
• Regularly create content formats to sustainably grow reach and community engagement
• Work closely with the marketing team to ensure the strategic positioning and tonal consistency of Bundesverbraucherhilfe
• Contribute to the development of a credible, consumer-focused social media presence

Requirements

• Experience in independently producing and editing social media content
• Ideally completed vocational training or a degree, or enrollment as a student in media, communications, marketing, or a related field
• Authentic presence, a feel for trends, and an understanding of consumers' real-life situations
• Creativity combined with structured working methods and editorial diligence
• Proficiency with common video recording and editing software
• High self-motivation, reliability, and willingness to produce content regularly
• Willingness to work remotely and flexibly on a volunteer basis
