Junior Designer — Focus on Creative AI

Role Overview

• Your contribution to unique experiences as a Junior Designer (m/f/d) in the MCI AI Studio.
• Visual development of projects with a focus on Creative AI workflows.
• Collaborate with your team to develop new ways of combining storytelling, design and technology.
• Visual creator with an AI focus: work with tools such as Midjourney, Veo and other AI systems to develop visuals, style frames, motion modules and world-building assets.
• Idea generator and implementer: support visual concepts from the first moodboard to the final result and actively contribute your own ideas.
• Co-creator of new workflows: develop new ways of working with the team, document learnings and help establish standards for AI-supported production.
• Part of a growing studio: help shape how Creative AI is used and evolves at MCI.

Requirements

• Completed training or degree in communication design, media design, graphic design or a comparable field.
• Initial experience in the design field or strong interest in diving into Creative AI.
• Enthusiasm for AI tools and a willingness to grow in a fast-changing environment.
• Proficient with common design tools.
• Excellent spoken and written English skills.
• Curiosity, hunger to learn and openness to new technologies and ways of working.
• Team player with clear communication skills and willingness to give and receive feedback.
• Willingness to travel.
• Additional advantages (nice to have):
• Experience in motion design or video production.
• A sense for visual storytelling and dramaturgy.
• Understanding of social media platforms and content formats.
• Interest in art direction, branding and visual identities.
