- Manage and develop Corporate Accounting Team
- Identify and resolve technical accounting issues
- Develop and monitor internal controls
- Lead financial statement preparation and presentation
- Oversee all accounting related to the corporate accounting function
- Set and enforce accounting standards and best practices
- Continuously assess and enhance accounting processes
- Lead corporate accounting audit process
- Collaborate with finance team and cross-functional departments
- Stay current with accounting standards and regulations
Requirements
- 8+ years of corporate accounting experience
- People management experience
- Experience in a remote, growth-stage environment
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Deep knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting
- Technical accounting research experience including ASC 606, ASC 350-40, ASC 810, ASC 860
- Strong experience with internal controls
- Strong analytical skills
- Effective communication skills
