About this role
Role Overview
Represent the security organization in internal and external committees to ensure alignment with overarching security objectives
Lead cross-cutting projects in coordination with the security officer, focusing on standardization, digitization, and enhancement of security processes
Monitor, analyze, and report security metrics and incidents to the security officer to support decision-making and continuous improvement
Develop, maintain, and update comprehensive security concepts for all offices and sites, taking into account NIS2 and critical infrastructure (KRITIS) requirements
Continuously identify physical security vulnerabilities and define, implement, and monitor appropriate protective measures
Conduct regular site audits to assess physical and digital security measures and ensure effective compliance with processes
Serve as the main point of contact for consultancy support in all areas of physical security, including planning, implementation, and monitoring of security measures
Perform all ISMS-related tasks within the assigned area of responsibility to ensure compliance with information security standards
Act as the contact person for information security queries in the assigned area, taking into account related aspects of physical security
Prepare for and actively participate in internal audits and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance security processes
Assess and ensure compliance of security measures for IT systems and building technologies, including access control, video surveillance, and alarm systems
Support sites in emergency management preparedness by planning, preparing, and conducting regular tests and exercises to maintain operational readiness
Requirements
University degree in information technology, security engineering, or a comparable field
Minimum of 5 years of practical experience with security systems, including access control, video surveillance, alarm systems, and security incident management
Strong knowledge of ISO 27001 and practical experience with Information Security Management Systems (ISMS)
Good organizational skills, strong communication abilities, and proven experience in cross-functional collaboration
Team-oriented mindset and ability to work effectively in collaborative environments
ISO 27001 Foundation or Practitioner certification desirable
Professional security certifications such as CPP (Certified Protection Professional) or PSP (Physical Security Professional) are an advantage
Emergency management training or certification is an advantage
Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken
Valid driving license (class B) and willingness to travel for site visits as required
