Develop, evolve, and maintain backend applications based on a microservices architecture. Design and implement REST APIs following an API-First approach, ensuring standardization and technical quality (OpenAPI, Swagger).
Participate in defining and implementing the technical architecture, contributing development best practices, design patterns, and service integration strategies.
Implement synchronous and asynchronous integrations using Feign clients, JMS, and other inter-microservice communication mechanisms. Create, refactor, and optimize components using Java 11+ and Spring Boot 3.x, ensuring performance, security, and scalability. Work on mapping, modeling, and implementing business rules using JPA (Hibernate and Spring Data).
Ensure code quality through automated tests (unit and integration), code reviews, and version control best practices.
Participate in agile ceremonies (daily, planning, refinement), contributing technically and proposing solutions. Collaborate with architecture, infrastructure, QA, and business teams to ensure technical and functional alignment of deliveries. Investigate issues, identify root causes, and propose fixes and continuous improvements to systems.
Support technical documentation of solutions, APIs, integrations, and business flows. Solid experience (minimum 3 years) with microservices-based architecture.
Requirements
Strong knowledge of relational databases, especially Oracle and PostgreSQL.
Expertise in inter-microservice communication (synchronous and asynchronous), including JMS, Feign clients, and others. Experience in designing and developing APIs using an API-First approach (OpenAPI and Swagger).
Proven experience (minimum 5 years) with Java and Spring Boot and Kubernetes. Experience with JPA (Hibernate and Spring Data).
Academic degree completed or in progress in IT-related fields.
