Role Overview
- Lead global public relations and communications strategy to strengthen the company’s reputation and visibility across key markets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with media and manage regional PR agencies.
- Develop compelling storytelling that highlights PayJoy’s mission, innovation, and social impact.
- Ensure consistent messaging and effective reputation management worldwide.
- Identify and manage reputational risks and coordinate crisis communications when necessary.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or currently pursuing a degree in a field related to Social Marketing.
- 7+ years of experience in public relations, communications, or corporate affairs (preferably in fintech, financial services, or technology).
- Proven track record of generating positive media coverage in global and regional markets.
- Exceptional writing, storytelling, and message-development skills in English (Spanish or Portuguese a plus).
- Strategic thinker with a bias for execution and comfortable working in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
- Experience collaborating cross-functionally with senior leaders and external partners.
- Strong understanding of the intersection of technology, financial inclusion, and emerging markets.
