About this role
Role Overview
Take ownership of organizing, preparing, tracking, and submitting applications for community solar, grant, and tax credit programs.
Maintain detailed trackers to monitor application status, deadlines, requirements, and outcomes across multiple projects.
Ensure all applications are complete, accurate, and compliant with program rules prior to submission.
Manage a high volume of applications simultaneously, ensuring nothing falls through the cracks.
Work within company data systems, workflows, and CRM tools to process and manage application-related information.
Update CRM and internal trackers with accurate, timely data to maintain a reliable system of record.
Coordinate with internal teams (development, finance, legal, etc.) to gather required inputs for applications.
Communicate clearly on deadlines, requirements, and application status to ensure alignment across teams.
Develop working knowledge of assigned community solar markets, including program rules, timelines, and eligibility criteria.
Interpret application requirements and ensure all submissions align with regulatory and compliance standards.
Track application performance and identify bottlenecks, delays, or inefficiencies in workflows.
Help document and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for application processes.
Requirements
Bachelor’s or Associate Degree
Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple applications and deadlines simultaneously.
High attention to detail, especially when working with complex documentation and requirements.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to synthesize information from multiple sources (CRM systems, program rules, internal inputs).
Collaborative mindset with the ability to work across teams.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office Suite preferred.
Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics) is a plus.
