Lead functional projects and configuration activities for new functionality and enhancements within the Workday payroll, absence, time tracking and scheduling product suite
Perform in a functional leadership capacity including project management, analysis of business systems, and process knowledge
Ensure configurations in Workday comply with local and country specific requirements
Liaise with HR and Technology related to responsibilities referenced below
Conduct discovery sessions with stakeholder(s) and/or project sponsor(s) to understand business requirements
Demonstrate Workday configuration through the development of a proof of concept (prototype)
Support day-to-day business operations
troubleshoot issues and determine, develop configuration solutions or process changes
Ensure thorough documentation of requirements, conceptual design, and end-to-end processes
Lead configuration testing efforts and partner with HRIS and Technical Solutions teams in configuring and testing in Workday
Develop high quality deliverables and presentations catered to the audience and with close attention to detail
Maintain process controls to help design, implement and/or monitor operations as part of initial configuration/implementation and continuous improvement
Participate in various process improvement projects, provide recommendations and assist in the process and system change implementations
Partner with cross functional teams and Technical Solutions team in the development, testing and roll-out of enhancements (e.g., new system updates/releases, new integrations)
Serve as an advisor in Workday configuration knowledge to the HRIS Solutions team
Participate in update trainings as needed
Support PMO efforts for Workday projects
Understand and execute critical path activities and resolve or escalate issues as needed
Deliver on project/process documentation as part of transition of support to operations
Perform other duties as required at the request of senior members of HR Services
Requirements
5+ years of experience in implementing and/or maintaining Workday US Payroll
3+ years of experience in implementing and/or maintaining Workday Absence and/or Time Tracking
Process development/definition in an ERP environment required
Experience in the development and implementation of process and systems changes required
Previous consulting experience with a consulting/software company desired
