Analyze sales systems, workflows, automation, and AI use cases to understand how day-to-day sales activities are executed.
Identify gaps, friction points, overlaps, or low-value activities in sales representatives’ workflows and system touchpoints.
Support documentation and maintenance of standardized workflows, entry and exit criteria, and completion tags.
Support the lifecycle of sales tools, automation, and AI use cases through analysis during onboarding, pilot phases, and scale-up or sunsetting decisions.
Analyze signal quality, automation effectiveness, and manual effort to identify opportunities to simplify representatives’ workflows.
Highlight system risks, data gaps, or adoption issues and recommend improvements.
Support administration of user access to sales-operations-owned tools (provisioning, modifications, and deprovisioning) using role-based access where applicable.
Manage user roles and permission sets; perform periodic access reviews and follow documented approval processes.
Coordinate with IT and security on identity and access matters (e.g., single sign-on/multi-factor authentication), licensing plans, and audit and compliance needs.
Document access request flows and administrator runbooks; contribute to knowledge base articles for onboarding and support.
Triage access issues and incident escalation levels; identify recurring issues and recommend process improvements.
Track and analyze system-related workflows, tools, and metrics to determine trends and execution failures.
Combine quantitative data with feedback from representatives and leaders to generate actionable insights.
Prepare analyses and recommendations to inform priority-setting and improvement discussions with key decision-makers.
Partner with sales operations, marketing, enablement, IT, and account leadership to support consistent system implementation.
Partner with the sales enablement team to support delivery of targeted, high-impact training that reinforces system workflows and drives adoption by sales representatives.
Contribute to analysis and documentation that align teams on shared system definitions and implementation expectations.
Requirements
Experience in sales operations, systems analysis, analytics, or commercial program support.
Postsecondary degree in computer science, business administration, engineering, or another relevant field, or equivalent professional experience.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data and feedback into clear, practical insights.
A curious, self-driven approach to learning and staying current with technology trends.
Experience analyzing account lists, segmentation, and performance data.
Familiarity with CRM platforms, automation tools, and analytics solutions.
Strong collaboration and communication skills with both technical and non-technical teams.
Empathy for sales representatives’ workflows and the real-world challenges of implementation.
Comfortable working in fast-changing, ambiguous environments where systems and processes are continuously improving.
