Prepare technical reports, design calculations, drawings, and specifications.
Requirements
Degree qualified in civil engineering (BE/B. Tech./ME/M. Tech./ MSc or equivalent).
M.Tech or Master’s degree in Structural Engineering or a related field.
Up to 4 years of experience in Bridge design.
Experience in and a commitment to effective management of Health, Safety and Welfare, Safety by Design.
Demonstrable experience in bridge analysis, design and assessment including an ability to undertake and oversee the analysis of structures using standard industry software, such MIDAS Civil, STAAD Pro, Robot, SAP2000, LUSAS, ASBD or similar.
Experience of working on detailed design projects of designing RCC and Composite structures.
Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and new technologies.
Perform advanced Structural analyses, including finite element analysis and modelling, limit equilibrium and soil-structure interaction analysis for different type of bridge structure.
Proficient with construction stage analysis for bridge structure and deep foundation.
Ability to deliver high quality design documentation including option appraisals, drawings, calculations, reports, specifications and construction documentation from Structural Point of view.
An excellent understanding of relevant international standards (e.g. Eurocodes, AASHTO, etc.).
General IT software skills, such as, Microsoft Office, SharePoint, ProjectWise, Bentley and Autodesk software.
Experience of digital delivery tools and workflows, for example BIM, parametric design and automation.
Ability to communicate confidently and professionally with all levels of staff and clients (written and verbal)
