Act as a Qualys SME within a team of Qualys platform engineers
Administer, configure, and optimize Qualys VMDR, Cloud Agents, and scanner operations
Ensure reliable asset coverage, agent health, scan performance, and data quality
Analyze vulnerability and compliance findings and partner with infrastructure teams
Contribute to automation and integrations using Qualys APIs and scripting
Support and enhance ServiceNow integrations for vulnerability intake
Participate in platform monitoring, incident response, upgrades, change management, and root cause analysis
Produce and maintain documentation, dashboards, and reporting

5+ years of IT security or systems engineering experience
3+ years focused on Qualys platform engineering
Strong hands-on experience with Qualys VMDR, Cloud Agent deployment, and Policy Compliance in an enterprise environment
Solid understanding of the vulnerability management lifecycle
Strong Windows and Linux/Unix systems knowledge
Experience with automation, scripting, and Qualys APIs
Proven ability to collaborate effectively within a team-based engineering model while independently owning complex technical deliverables
Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills
