We're looking for a QA Analyst to join our Product & Engineering team.
You'll be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of the Hivebrite platform through thorough manual testing, clear documentation, and close collaboration with developers and product managers.
You'll take ownership of quality within your squad's functional scope, contribute to test planning, drive bug resolution, and actively look for ways to improve how we test — including leveraging AI tools.
Design and execute detailed manual test cases covering functional, usability, and edge-case scenarios for your squad's features.
Perform regression testing to ensure new changes don't break existing functionality.
Contribute to test planning by defining test objectives, scope, and strategy alongside developers and product managers.
Conduct exploratory testing to uncover issues that scripted tests might miss.
Own the full bug lifecycle within your functional scope — from identification and clear documentation in Jira, through triage, to resolution tracking.
Collaborate with developers on root cause analysis and validate fixes thoroughly.
Plan and execute QA activities within sprint timelines, ensuring quality without becoming a bottleneck.
Maintain clear, well-structured test documentation in Qase — including test plans, cases, and execution reports.
Use AI assistants and explore quality metrics.
Requirements
3–5 years of experience in a QA Analyst or similar role, ideally in a SaaS or web application environment.
Strong experience with manual testing methodologies — functional, regression, exploratory, and edge-case testing.
Proficiency with test management tools (Qase or equivalent) and issue-tracking systems (Jira, including JQL and dashboard creation).
Solid ability to document bugs clearly with reproduction steps, expected vs. actual behavior, and supporting evidence (logs, screenshots).
Experience collaborating in Agile/Scrum teams — comfortable with sprint ceremonies, backlog refinement, and cross-functional collaboration.
Familiarity with Confluence for test documentation and knowledge sharing.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills — you can identify patterns in bugs, spot coverage gaps, and prioritize based on risk.
Clear and assertive communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
Nice-to-Have: Exposure to API testing with tools like Postman.
Basic familiarity with test automation frameworks (e.g., Playwright) — you don't need to write automation, but understanding it helps you collaborate with automation engineers.
Experience with performance or accessibility testing.
Interest in or experience using AI tools to support QA workflows (e.g., AI-assisted test case generation, bug analysis).
Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and how QA gates fit into the delivery process.
Experience working on a community platform, marketplace, or multi-tenant SaaS product.
