Freelance Video Producer – Performance & Content Marketing

Role Overview

• You take strong in-house ideas and turn them into videos that actually perform
• Develop concrete video concepts from ideas
• Shoot independently
• Edit independently
• Build hooks, variants and cutdowns
• Think not only in “beautiful videos” but in conversion and watch time
• Shoot short founder, product, or talking-head formats
• Edit videos in the 30–90 second range
• Help set up a simple, repeatable studio setup
• Think in formats rather than single projects
• Setup approx. 1.5 days per week (retainer)
• Regular on-site work in Berlin
• Long-term collaboration intended

Requirements

• You shoot AND you edit yourself
• Strong portfolio in Paid Social, Reels, or YouTube short-form
• Good sense for hook, pace, story, and platform logic
• Able to turn minimal input into usable, high-quality assets quickly
• Work pragmatically and avoid overengineering
• Comfortable in a fast startup environment
• Proven experience in video production and content creation
• Ability to develop and implement your own creative concepts
• Excellent video editing skills
• German at native level with good English proficiency
• Experience creating marketing assets and working with performance metrics
• Ability to think creatively and develop innovative solutions
