Role Overview
- Translate complex engineering concepts into detailed drawings.
- Utilise your expertise in cable ladder design, switch rooms, panels, P&IDs, loop diagrams, substation & MCC layouts, lighting & power layouts, and instrument junction box layout designs to contribute to our projects.
- Develop project CAD execution plans, ensuring accuracy and adherence to design specifications.
- Provide input for software development to enhance drafting practices.
- Share your electrical and instrumentation expertise by assisting others in design and utilisation of CAD software.
Requirements
- 7 + years experience as Electrical / Instrumentation designer.
- Technical Diploma, trade qualification or equivalent relevant experience.
- Experience in mining, minerals processing, or energy/oil & gas industries.
- Demonstrated expertise in multi-discipline projects.
- Strong understanding of Australian Standards.
- Highly proficient in AutoCAD 2D or MicroStation 2D and 3D modelling experience in at least one CAD program.
- High desirable to have Aveva experience.
