Provide direct engineering support for Cirrus Logic customers and field personnel
Develop reference designs and demonstration platforms
Develop application notes, white papers, demo-board, and reference-design manuals
Implement customer-application focused data collection and circuit analysis
Debug analog and digital silicon issues
Collaborate and communicate closely with tier 1 customers, marketing and internal engineering teams to understand requirements and use cases and contribute to next-generation product definition
Autonomously manage tasks and priorities, including communicating project status cross functionally
Travel approximately 2 weeks per year, domestically and abroad
Requirements
BSEE with 7+ years of experience in the semiconductor industry (or MSEE with 5+ years of experience)
Experience with integrated DC-to-DC switching buck and/or boost converters
Demonstrated aptitude in system understanding of various industry interface standards such as I2C, SPI, USB, UART, I2S, SPMI
Experience in component selection, schematic entry and knowledge of PCB layout design
Experience with scripting or programming languages such as MATLAB, LabVIEW, Python or similar
Experience with embedded C/C++ programming a plus
Extensive hands-on experience in lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, signal generators, audio analyzers, logic analyzers, spectrum analyzers
Self-motivated with excellent problem solving skills and attention to detail are highly valued
