Role Overview
- Support systems engineering activities to help mature designs toward integrated, delivery‑ready solutions under guidance from senior engineers.
- Contribute to software, hardware, and systems integration activities as part of a multidisciplinary engineering team.
- Assist with the preparation and conduct of design reviews, integration activities, and trials, ensuring engineering tasks are completed to required standards.
- Identify and investigate technical issues, escalating complex problems to senior engineers as appropriate.
- Support delivery activities by completing assigned engineering tasks in accordance with project plans and priorities.
- Apply established engineering processes, tools, and best practices to develop professional capability.
- Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to share progress, results, and emerging issues.
Requirements
- Requires a University Degree in Engineering
- Demonstrated experience in Systems Engineering involving one or more of the following: requirements definition, requirements management, analysis, design, verification and validation
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with numerous stakeholders
- Initiative, motivation and desire to achieve
- Ability to work autonomously or with minimal supervision and deliver completed work on schedule
- Excellent written and oral communications skills
- Eligibility to obtain and maintain Australian Government (Defence) Security Clearance up to Negative Vetting Level 1.
