About this role
Role Overview
- Deliver accurate and timely monthly and quarterly financial reporting and management presentations for senior leadership and CFO organization
- Develop and maintain financial models to support business performance analysis, scenario planning, and strategic decision-making
- Support annual planning, budgeting, and periodic forecasting processes, including variance analysis and outlook assessments
- Analyze key business drivers and metrics (e.g., earnings, net flows, AUM) and provide clear, actionable insights
- Partner closely with business and finance stakeholders to understand performance trends, risks, and opportunities
- Prepare executive-ready materials, including presentations and ad hoc analyses, to support leadership decision-making
- Leverage Essbase / Smart View and Anaplan to efficiently produce and enhance financial reporting and planning
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to streamline FP&A processes, automation, and analytics
Requirements
- University degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent
- Professional accounting designation (CPA) or Degree specialized in Accounting/Finance preferred
- 5 or more years of experience in a finance role
- Wealth and Asset Management industry experience an asset
- Demonstrated experience developing, reviewing/vetting, and working with financial models and analyzing potential risks
- Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Essbase/ledger and Anaplan expertise would be an asset
- Proactive approach to continuous improvements and a positive, “can-do” attitude
- Advanced executive communication and writing skills; ability to succinctly engage with management and other team members
