Develop and define project goals, scope, and deliverables that support business objectives in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
Manage project documentation, including statements of work, meeting minutes, and project plans.
Manage end-to-end delivery of projects and products, ensuring all objectives are met to customer quality standards.
Manage budgeting and forecasting, ensuring projects are completed within the approved budget.
Recommend and implement process enhancements that support “Right First Time” outcomes, driving continuous improvement for yourself and the team.
Create comprehensive project plans to be shared with customers and other staff members.
Monitor and review staffing needs with department managers to optimise project delivery and cost efficiency.
Build strong relationships with customers, manage expectations, and ensure all approvals and sign-offs are secured at each milestone.
Direct and coordinate resources to meet project deliverables, proactively escalating issues and negotiating changes as needed.
Support and implement Agile practices to enhance project execution and departmental performance.
Ensure adherence to G+D’s OH&S, Security, Quality, and Environmental standards.
Provide clear, timely updates on project costs, progress, milestones, risks, and outcomes. Conduct post-project evaluation and identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.
Work cross-functionally to design and deliver solutions, leveraging internal and external expertise for the full product portfolio.
Requirements
Formal Engineering qualification, Computer Science, or related fields and certification in Project Management methodologies (e.g., Prince2, Agile, PMP).
Proven ability to manage complex projects, lead teams, and deliver results in a cross-matrix environment.
Proven experience in a manufacturing environment, with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar or the same role.
Strong understanding of project governance, planning, and the payment ecosystem (including EMV).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present project status to customers and stakeholders.
Ability to prioritise, multi-task, analyse issues, and proactively identify and mitigate risks.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to perform under pressure.
Skilled in MS Office, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, MS Project, and project management platforms.
Strong organisational, team-building, and delegation skills.
