Take part in the process of designing, developing, and improving database-related platform capabilities used across modern financial systems
Develop and improve reliable, secure, and scalable database solutions in AWS, with a strong focus on PostgreSQL and AWS-managed database services
Impact on platform and engineering standards by working closely with development teams and supporting them with strong expertise in PostgreSQL and AWS databases
Work on database performance, reliability, backup and recovery, and security
Contribute to the broader platform engineering landscape in a T-shaped engineering environment

5+ years of commercial experience working with relational databases in production environments
Strong hands-on experience with PostgreSQL
Solid experience with AWS database services, especially RDS and Aurora
Experience with database performance tuning and troubleshooting
Strong experience with database reliability engineering, including backup, restore, recovery, and high-availability practices
Experience with database security in cloud environments
Willingness and interest to collaborate and work in a team
Poland as country of residence and Polish citizenship or EU country citizenship
