Senior Application Analyst, Pharmacy Systems

Role Overview

• Analyze clinical, business and/or technical processes and problems
• Formulate and develop recommendations for new and modified systems
• Provide advanced technical expertise in identifying, evaluating and developing systems
• Gather and work with departments to prioritize development initiatives
• Manage system upgrades and large projects
• Mentor Associate and Mid-level I/S Analysts in their roles

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Five (5) years of related Information Technology experience in a Business, Computer Science, or clinical field/setting
• SQL database knowledge preferred
• Working knowledge of project management software, concepts and tracking; healthcare software applications preferred
• Perl/Java/XML/Linux/Apache; HL/7 preferred
