Service day to day client needs including, fielding phone calls, email, and other communication relative to coverage questions, policy changes, payments, cancellations, etc.
Review bond requests to verify for accuracy and request any additional supporting documents from insured.
Submit requests to surety company, produce bond in final form along with bid transmittal letter for insured.
Manage client relationship ensuring satisfaction
Create bond-ability letters for insureds as needed
Prepare performance/payment bonds in final form and return to client along with transmittal letter, certificates of insurance and premium invoice.
Manage relationships with underwriters to ensure positive results for clients, and negotiate coverage with underwriters
Responsible to set up and maintain electronic and paper client files.
Mentoring, collaboration, and training of Assistants Account Managers.
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent
P & C Insurance Producer License Required
Some Surety Experience Preferred
Four or more years insurance brokerage or property casualty insurance experience in account management role strongly preferred

Proficient in Word, Excel, internet utilization; Applied EPIC Agency Management System and ERLON experience preferred but not required
