Role Overview
- Support the implementation and ongoing maintenance of the reserving governance framework
- Ensure consistent application of governance standards across reserving processes
- Lead the development and maintenance of documentation for reserving methodologies, assumptions, and processes
- Oversee execution and testing of controls related to reserving
- Work closely with Actuarial, Finance, Risk, and Audit teams to ensure alignment and compliance
- Identify opportunities to strengthen controls, improve documentation, and enhance governance processes
Requirements
- 10+ years of actuarial or related experience, with exposure to reserving
- Strong understanding of governance, controls, and documentation requirements
- Experience with SOX controls and audit processes
- Strong organizational and documentation skills
- Effective communication and stakeholder coordination skills
