You refactor and optimize existing code to ensure our solution remains stable, performant, and maintainable in the long term.
You create and maintain clear, traceable software documentation so team knowledge remains accessible.
You work closely with cross-functional teams — from requirements gathering through solution development to code reviews — delivering high-quality logistics solutions.
You evaluate new technologies and methodologies and contribute ideas to continuously improve both our software development and logistics processes.
You design software modules and components to be performant, scalable, and maintainable over time.
You ensure high quality from the start: writing and executing unit, integration, and system tests to guarantee the stability of your solutions.
Requirements
Degree in a computer science–related field or equivalent vocational training
Several years of experience (at least 2 years) in application development with object-oriented programming languages
Experience working with relational databases, primarily Oracle, and to some extent MS SQL & PostgreSQL
Good knowledge of Java, SQL, JSON, Spring (Boot)
Proficient IT skills with SQL, Eclipse, IntelliJ IDEA, Hibernate
Business-fluent German, both written and spoken
