Actively participate in integration projects for newly acquired schools, conducting Due Diligence on litigation and advisory documentation to ensure compliance during the transition.
Prepare technical and strategic responses for the Public Prosecutor’s Office (Ministério Público), PROCON (consumer protection agency) and other regulatory bodies.
Provide direct support to internal clients (administrative headquarters and schools), addressing day-to-day legal and operational questions.
Draft and respond to extrajudicial notifications, aiming for amicable and strategic conflict resolution.
Produce legal opinions focused on enabling secure business decisions.
Maintain a forward-looking perspective on the legal function, identifying opportunities to automate processes and implement improvements that increase efficiency.
Requirements
Law degree (undergraduate in Law) – required.
Strong interpersonal skills (you will communicate with all teams across the Holding and with 200+ schools).
Strong public speaking skills (needed for training and meetings) and strong writing skills (for drafting responses and administrative defenses).
Versatility: We are looking for someone highly versatile who can work across different areas. You should feel comfortable with both the technical and analytical rigor required for Due Diligence and the agility and empathy needed for direct support to internal clients (schools and administrative headquarters), adapting your communication and approach according to the audience.
Experience: Minimum of 3 years of professional experience, preferably in corporate environments or law firms.
Advanced Excel and PowerPoint are desirable.
Prior experience or knowledge in Labor/Employment law is a plus.
