Lead a high-quality, efficient month-end close and deliver board-ready reporting with robust reconciliations and clear audit trails
Strengthen financial controls, systems and automation to build a scalable, investor-ready finance function
Act as the lead for audit, year-end accounts, VAT, payroll and broader tax compliance
Partner cross-functionally to translate financial performance into commercial insight, confidently challenging on accounting treatment where needed
Lead and develop the finance team — raising standards, improving processes, and embedding a systems-first, high-performance culture as we scale, including AI use where applicable

Fully qualified (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with strong post-qualified experience
Proven experience as a Financial Controller or Senior Finance Manager within a scaling, high-growth environment
Strong technical grounding with clear SaaS / software revenue recognition experience and a deep understanding of financial controls
Systems-first mindset — you instinctively improve processes, leverage automation, and enhance reporting accuracy
Confident communicator with gravitas, comfortable challenging stakeholders and translating financial data into commercial insight
Meticulous, disciplined and commercially aware, with the drive to build a finance function that supports rapid and sustainable growth.
