Role Overview
- Manage day-to-day technical aspects of compliance program
- Supervise compliance training program and process review program
- Foster a team approach to managing compliance risk
- Complete risk assessments and serve as a compliance resource
- Facilitate and enhance a comprehensive compliance training program
- Manage third-party compliance consultants and auditors
- Conduct compliance reviews within established timeframes
- Prepare detailed reporting of findings and recommendations
- Monitor changes to laws and regulations affecting the organization
- Supervise a team of compliance officers when required
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- Minimum of seven years of experience as a compliance professional
- Compliance certification from at least one bank trade association
- Comprehensive knowledge of federal and state consumer protection laws
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Above average knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
