Providing financial and analytical support for the firm
Preparing recurring and ad-hoc financial analysis and reports related to client statistics and firm financial metrics
Creating analyses and responding to various requests by applying financial and analytical skills
Utilizing data mining and database mechanisms to obtain data and organizing the information to facilitate effective analysis and creating analytical reports
Utilizing database mechanisms and Microsoft Access to develop and improve reporting processes
Maintaining detailed records documenting procedures and assumptions, methodologies, and sources of information employed during the performance of all analytical tasks
Making recommendations and working with management to develop procedures, processes, and workflow to ensure maximum efficiency in the FIC department
Protecting and maintaining any highly sensitive, confidential, privileged, financial, and/or proprietary information that Latham & Watkins retains
Requirements
A bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, economics, or a related field
A minimum of three (3) years of analytical experience in finance, accounting, or a related professional services environment
