Regulatory Financial Analyst

Role Overview

• Responsible for financial aspects of the Company’s transmission service, including transmission tariff and wholesale transmission/distribution contract billing
• Prepare monthly billings related to transmission/distribution contract rates, transmission tariffs and other monthly billings
• Responsible for monthly billing analysis and journal entries related to monthly billing calculations
• Prepare assigned FERC Form 3-Q/1, 582 and Electronic Quarterly Reporting and related financial analysis associated with transmission service contracts and agreements
• Communicate with customers and handle customer matters as they arise
• Prepare forecasts for annual budget and regulatory filings

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or other associated degree
• Three (3) or more years of related experience
• Strong knowledge of finance, accounting or other related disciplines
• Understanding of utility accounting and regulatory framework is preferred
• Detail oriented and the ability to be thorough and precise
• Ability to multi-task and shift among competing priorities
• Strong technical skills including MS Office applications and various financial systems
