Responsible for planning, analyzing and perform day-to-day supply chain activities.
This position is responsible for assisting in executing and achieving the plant inventory targets, KPIs, and purchase order analysis for direct and indirect orders.
This position relies on experience, judgment, and analysis to accomplish goals.
Works with plant purchasing team to ensure inventories are supplied in a timely manner and at the proper stock levels.
Receives production schedules from plant planning team and performs detailed analysis to determine any supply variances.
Performs analysis of inventory & supply to prepare results into meaningful written documentation and presentation material.
Reports on supply chain KPI’s as well as tracking exceptions.
Responsible for assembling data, analyzing performance, identifying problems, and developing recommendations which enhance purchasing operations.
Maintains tracking of key data sets (low inventory warning report, on-time delivery of orders, purchase order cost history, and other KPI’s)
Performs necessary functions within SAP including reviewing inventory reports, ensuring inventory accuracy in SAP, and perform root-cause analysis when significant discrepancies discovered.
Performs special projects, as assigned.
Requirements
Must possess a bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, or related field.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate information with attention to detail and accuracy
Must have 1 year of experience, preferably in a pharmaceutical or healthcare related industry.
Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills.
Possess excellent time management skills and can manage multiple priorities.
Communicates effectively with a broad range of partners
Proficiency in Microsoft Office products is critical.
SAP experience is preferred
Must demonstrate effective decision-making skills.
Must have a strong knowledge of supply chain & inventory practices.
Familiarity with manufacturing environment desired
Operationally independent and self-motivated.
Readily adapts to situational and organizational changes.
