Perform data engineering, develop mathematical models, and implement algorithms and analytical visualizations that support multiple business areas in identifying opportunities—through optimization of costs, investments and processes, as well as revenue growth.
Monitor technological and scientific developments, given the continuous improvements in algorithms, mathematical models, and technological platforms in the Big Data area.
Track changes in the telecommunications market to understand and anticipate market and consumer behavior trends, thereby delivering better insights and analyses for the business.
Balance the technical excellence of models and analyses with time-to-market business expectations and computational constraints (large data volumes).
Comply with requirements for maintaining the Occupational Health and Safety Management System and participate in Occupational Health and Safety programs.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree or higher (degree certificate required)
Advanced proficiency in SQL, data pipelines, and distributed processing
Strong experience with Azure cloud and data architecture
Strong analytical skills for optimization and resolution of complex problems
Experience with data security, privacy, auditing, and data quality
Hands-on experience with tools such as Hadoop, Spark, Databricks, PostgreSQL, Informatica PowerCenter, IDMC, Azure Data Factory (ADF), MongoDB, Kafka
Experience working on projects involving AI, machine learning, and big data
Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related fields
Desirable certifications: Azure Data Architect, Databricks Certified Data Engineer, AWS Data Analytics, IU Data Security Fabric
Proficiency with tools such as Terraform, Git, Docker, Kubernetes
Knowledge of LGPD, GDPR, and information security best practices
Skills in technical documentation, communication with business areas, and technical leadership
Proven experience in data engineering in analytical and operational environments
Experience on projects with Databricks, Delta Lake, Spark, Azure Data Factory, and Synapse
Experience with ETL/ELT tools and data integration (SAS, Talend, Alteryx)
Knowledge of relational and non-relational databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis)
Participation in data migration and legacy platform modernization projects
Experience with data modeling, taxonomies, glossaries, and metadata
