Role Overview
- Evaluating Government Program (Medicare and Medicaid) regulations and contracts
- Managing direct reports and providing oversight of operational compliance
- Developing policies, conducting monitoring, managing risk
- Acting as a liaison with regulatory agencies to prevent legal penalties
- Identifying risks and developing remediation strategies
- Working with Corporate Compliance and business personnel
- Providing compliance consultation and guidance to business owners
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Five (5) years’ experience in healthcare compliance
- Nine (9) years’ experience in health plan, regulatory compliance or risk management
- One year of leadership/supervisory experience
- Strong critical thinking, risk assessment and mitigation
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to influence processes to achieve results
- Organizational, project management, analytical and decision-making skills
- PC proficiency to include MS Teams, Word, PowerPoint and Excel as well as Workday
