About this role
Role Overview
Managing and ensuring compliance for business travelers crossing international borders.
Advising project managers, HR business partners, and employees on deployment planning, cost estimation, and compliance requirements for short-term business travel.
Developing, implementing, and maintaining policies and processes related to business traveler populations.
Partnering with Corporate Tax and Legal teams to assess permanent establishment risks and support mitigation strategies.
Monitoring travel patterns, duration of stay, and tax or social security thresholds to proactively identify and address compliance risks.
Overseeing all phases of immigration processes for business travelers.
Supporting tax filing, tax reconciliation, and social security compliance for business travelers.
Preparing regular compliance reports and analytics for management, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities for continuous improvement.
Conducting periodic audits of business traveler activity and recommending corrective actions.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Law, or a related field.
5 to 7 years of experience in global mobility, tax, immigration, or related compliance-focused roles.
Working knowledge of international tax, immigration, and social security regulations.
Proficiency with HRIS platforms (e.g., Workday) and Microsoft Office applications.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
High level of discretion and ability to handle confidential information.
Bilingual proficiency in English and French.
