Requirements

- Experience on a news desk or as a senior reporter
- Excellent knowledge of media law
- Ability to inspire a team
- Drive the news agenda
- Deputise for other editors
- Thrive under pressure and react to breaking news
- Write articles when needed
- Create the right mix of content for print and online
- Process and edit copy for print and online
- Place copy on pages for newspapers
