About this role
Role Overview
- The ServiceNow Service Portal Developer is responsible for creating and updating mobile and web‑based sites and portals within the ServiceNow platform
- This role partners closely with UX/UI designers and the platform team to build new Service Portal components—including portals, pages, and custom widgets—aligned with ServiceNow best practices.
Requirements
- 3+ years of hands‑on experience with the ServiceNow platform
- 3+ years of experience with modern web technologies, including one or more of the following:
- Standard and compliant HTML5 / CSS3
- JavaScript
- Bootstrap
- Web frameworks, grid systems, and cross‑browser testing
- Extensive knowledge of component libraries and front‑end frameworks
- Experience working with one or more of the following:
- ServiceNow Service Portal configuration tools (Branding Editor, Page Designer, Page Editor, Widget Editor)
- Creating new portals from the ground up
- Custom JavaScript
- AngularJS
- Bootstrap
- Strong understanding of responsive design, front‑end performance, and UI/UX implementation best practices
- US Citizen
- Ability to hold and maintain a secret level clearance, at minimum.
