Design, build, and maintain secure and scalable cloud infrastructure across GCP (with exposure to AWS/Azure where needed)
Develop and improve Infrastructure as Code using tools such as Terraform and CloudFormation
Enhance CI/CD pipelines and automate deployments to improve speed, consistency, and quality
Monitor performance, availability, and cost, implementing optimizations and proactive alerts
Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and support incident response alongside platform and DevOps teams

Strong experience in a Cloud Engineering role
Practical expertise in GCP, Terraform, GitHub, containers (Docker), and Linux environments
Solid understanding of networking and security fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, BGP, load balancing, SSL, IAM)
Proficiency in scripting or programming (e.g. Python, shell, Ruby, or Perl) and configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef
A collaborative mindset, strong communication skills, and the confidence to coach and support teammates transitioning into cloud engineering roles
