You’ll be responsible for developing and leading the commercial sales strategy across the renewables market, driving high value opportunities from initial engagement through to conversion.
Using your market insight and commercial expertise, you’ll identify growth opportunities, build strategic partnerships, and strengthen Utilita’s position within a competitive landscape.
A key focus will be on winning and developing major commercial opportunities across, larger organisations.
You’ll take ownership of the sales pipe and help shape the future direction of the renewables offering through market insight, product input and go to market strategy.
As the team continues to grow, this role will also play a key part in building and leading a commercial sales function, with the future opportunity to mentor and manage SDR’s and wider commercial team members.
Requirements
We’re open to candidates from a range of commercial, business development, or renewable energy backgrounds who can bring strong leadership, strategic thinking, and proven experience driving growth.
Experience within solar, renewables, energy, utilities or related commercial sectors would be highly beneficial.
You’ll be commercially aware, proactive, and confident building long term relationships with senior stakeholders and decision makers.
Whether your experience comes from scaling sales functions, leading commercial strategies, building partnerships, or developing high performing pipelines, were looking for someone who can spot opportunities and turn them into results.
Crucially, you won’t wait for opportunities, you’ll create them!
