Purchasing Manager

Role Overview

• Ensures staff is trained to plan, scope, and execute procurement activities
• Work with suppliers on certifications, documentation, and scorecards
• Acts as lead negotiator for contracts and liaison with outside vendors
• Manages the plan for division wide procurement requirements and creates systems and policies
• Ensures supply levels and inventory goals are met through the team
• Conducts Monthly, Quarterly and Yearly Reporting (ex. Inventory, Supplier Metrics, Capital Spending)

Requirements

• 3+ years of prior experience in a supervisory or managerial capacity
• Bachelor’s degree in related area
