Support various product stakeholders in matters relating to environmental and sustainability requirements from legal regulations and customer requirements
Analyze and identify risks and impacts related to product compliance and sustainability and develop appropriate mitigation measures
Inform and advise internal and external stakeholders on regulatory changes, methods, tools, and product innovations
Act in direct contact with customers, authorities, and suppliers during bids and projects, ensuring compliance with relevant requirements
Establish and continuously optimize processes, documentation, and tools to improve efficiency and performance in compliance and sustainability
Steer implementation across the supplier network, manage deviations and non-compliances, define KPIs, and actively support contract and customer managers
Requirements
Completed Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or a scientific discipline, ideally with a focus on sustainability
Solid knowledge of relevant standards, legislation, and regulations related to environmental product compliance and sustainability
Experience in a project
and engineering-driven environment, ideally within the rail or industrial sector, is an advantage but not a requirement
Strong analytical skills, a structured way of working, and excellent organizational abilities
German and English skills to work confidently in an international environment
