Consultant Data Scientist – Forecasting & Business Analytics

Role Overview

• Support the development and evolution of revenue and cost (P&L) forecasting models, considering different levels (product, channel, region, etc.)
• Identify and model the main business drivers (e.g., churn, acquisition, price, mix, etc.)
• Perform statistical analyses (correlation, regression, multivariate analysis) to understand variations in results
• Structure and prepare reliable datasets for analysis and modeling
• Build analytical pipelines using Python and SQL, ensuring scalability and reproducibility
• Translate technical analyses into actionable business insights
• Support business teams in interpreting results and making decisions
• Prepare executive presentations with clarity, conciseness and a focus on impact
• Conduct testing, validation and ongoing performance monitoring of models
• Identify opportunities for improvement and automation in planning processes (FP&A)

Requirements

• Completed higher education – diploma/certificate of completion
• Degree in Statistics, Data Science, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, Business Administration or related fields
• Experience applying data analysis to business problems, preferably in planning, forecasting or FP&A
• Strong analytical skills, critical thinking and problem-solving ability
• Good communication and ability to interact with business stakeholders
• Experience preparing executive-level presentations (PowerPoint or similar)

• Python (pandas, numpy, scikit-learn)

• Applied statistics (correlation, regression, basic hypothesis testing)
