Assists Supply Chain Development Manager in setting up and implementing the supply chain strategy in the assigned global business unit that supports the individual customer’s needs.
Manage the customer supply chain relationship through direct interaction with customers.
Champion the execution and deployment of Jabil’s standard planning and inventory strategies and systems.
Drive a systematic process to receive, evaluate and fulfill customer demand across the business unit.
Ensure that an achievable Master Schedule is in place to support both customer requirements and Jabil revenue projections.
Ensure that the Master Production Schedule is loaded in alignment with customer contract(s) and liability agreements.
Develop and supervise solid product launch plans for new business, and transition plans for products being transferred between Jabil manufacturing sites.
Generate and analyze inventory reports for internal business unit and/or customer use.
Recommend process and supply chain initiatives to lower inventory costs.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree; and two years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Strong / potential leadership skills are required.
A solid understanding of electronics / mechanical manufacturing and materials management is required as well as ability in negotiation cost reduction activities and materials planning.
