About this role
Role Overview
Serves as a point of contact for Relation’s largest, most complex clients.
Monitors client questions, provides recommendations in partnership with the National Accounts Account Management Team on appropriate coverage changes and/or contractual requirements.
Identifies, researches and provides resolution for standard client issues.
Provides support to the National Accounts Account Management team in the remarketing of renewals to ensure a high level of account retention.
Creates proposals as directed by the Account Manager.
May review policies received from carriers to ensure accuracy to specifications/binders; expedite with insurance carriers needed corrections to policies received, process or prepare (order, follow-up and/or check) endorsements and applications.
Facilitates the prompt response from carriers in an effort to work toward a settlement of all claims.
Reviews policy audits and verifies their accuracy.
Confirms necessary corrections between the client and the carrier are executed at the direction of the National Accounts Account Management team.
Proactively communicates with client any significant audit differences.
Reviews cancellations and determines reason for cancellation requests with an attempt to save client accounts, as appropriate, while maintaining the company’s financial equity at the direction of the National Accounts Account Management team.
Stays abreast of industry information, new products, legislation, coverage and technology to continuously improve knowledge, performance and services to clients.
Fully adopts innovative technology, including proprietary AI solutions, into the service process to deliver a best-in-class client service experience
Performs other projects, duties, and tasks, as assigned.
Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent
Four-year degree preferred
Minimum 2+ years of client service experience in the insurance industry with a focus on commercial lines
A Property and Casualty License from state of domicile is required and must be maintained
Associate in Insurance (AINS) and/or Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR) Designation preferred
Bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus or a must in some locations
3+ years’ experience in Customer Service with preference given to individuals with commercial lines experience preferred
In-depth understanding of commercial lines of coverage
Strong analytical and mathematical skills
Strong PowerPoint and presentation skills for both in-person and teleconference/webinar sessions
Outstanding interpersonal and communications skills are required to maintain effective relationships with clients, co-workers, carriers, vendors and others
Proficient skills in Microsoft Office (primarily Excel and Word)
Must be computer literate with the ability to learn new software applications
Intermediate knowledge of insurance markets, products, services, insurance ratings and underwriting procedures
Must have a valid driver’s license, the ability to travel to client sites and a reliable source of transportation.
