Maintain accurate financial records and ensure all transactions are properly recorded
Process accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing and payments
Reconcile bank statements and manage general ledger entries
Maintaining deferred revenue, prepaids, accruals, and depreciation worksheets
Prepare financial reports and assist with budgeting and forecasting
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards
Assist with travel bookings, procurement, and office administration
Support HR-related tasks including hardware asset tracking and benefits administration
Manage forms and documentation for grant programs, templates, and other projects
Provide general administrative support across the team as needed
Requirements
Post-secondary education in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
3+ years of experience in bookkeeping, full-cycle accounting, or a similar role
Solid working knowledge of GAAP
Proficiency with QuickBooks Online (QBO), Microsoft Office (Excel, Word), and SharePoint
Experience with month-end close, financial statement preparation, and maintaining organized books
Familiarity with B2B or SaaS company environments is a strong plus
Experience with customer billing platforms (HubSpot, Maxio/Chargify, ChargeBee) is an asset
Pursuing or holding a professional accounting designation (CPA or equivalent) is an asset
Experience with AI tools in a finance or accounting context is a strong asset
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities
