Respond to lawyer and staff requests to perform conflicts of interest searches
Review information submitted by lawyers and support staff for completion and accuracy
Follow-up with lawyers and support staff to clarify information
Research corporate history of clients and parties
Use Boolean searching to query the conflicts database
Distinguish relevant search results from those that are irrelevant
Review generated conflict reports for relevancy based on submitted information
Analyze the report with limited guidance
Work closely with assigned Compliance Attorney to ensure compliance workflow is accurate and efficient
Summarize the basis for potential conflicts and communicate to assigned Compliance Attorney
Develop familiarity with Global Practice Standards program and answer inquiries regarding share dealings
Safeguard and keep confidential any information regarding firm business matters

Bachelor's degree
One year of conflicts or legal assistant experience (or similar analyst experience)
Excellent oral and written business communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills
Strong analytical skills
Willingness to learn law and fundamental principles regarding conflict of interest issues
Strong issue-spotting skills
Ability to keep confidential any information regarding firm business matters
Proven stability and calm demeanor
Solid knowledge of world's geography
Proficient Microsoft Office Suite user
