Senior Backend Developer, Shopware

Role Overview

• Designing and implementing complex, scalable applications.
• Responsibility for agile development, release and deployment processes (e.g. Git workflow)
• Independently developing custom plugins
• Programming interfaces / API integration
• Supporting and mentoring colleagues in the Backend Development team

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming
• Strong knowledge of PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript (ES6)
• Strong knowledge of common frameworks and technologies such as Symfony, Laravel, Doctrine ORM, Node.js, Vue.js, MySQL, MongoDB, RabbitMQ
• Strong experience with PhpStorm, debugging and unit testing
• Experience with project management tools such as Jira and Confluence is a plus
• Ideally experienced with agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban
• Basic knowledge of e-commerce systems like Shopware, OXID eSales, Ibexa or similar is helpful
• A desire to learn new technologies and continuously improve
• A passion for clean, semantically correct source code
