Role Overview
- Develop and execute a multi-year national security strategy
- Establish enterprise-wide security policies and procedures
- Oversee the Workplace Violence Prevention committee
- Manage security technology and systems
- Ensure regulatory compliance for inspections
- Act as a key leader during emergencies and investigations
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Healthcare Administration, Emergency Management, or related field
- 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in corporate security or law enforcement
- 5 years of experience managing security in a large-scale healthcare system or hospital environment preferable
- Board certification in security management, such as CPP or CHPA is highly desired
- Understanding of the unique psychological and emotional state of patients and families in a hospital setting
