Role Overview
- Research and maintain a comprehensive forward calendar of global corporate events
- Support a team responsible for creating and checking the accuracy of key corporate data and economic indicators
- Monitor company and stock exchange websites and newswires, filtering company press releases
- Regular phone contact and extensive checking and editing of current data
- Take responsibility for the information collected in certain indices and from certain countries, with particular focus on the Asian markets
Requirements
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Mandarin and Cantonese language skills
- Team player
- able to collaborate effectively with others to get through the required workloads
- Good desk research skills, methodical, able to adhere to processes and deadlines
- Good knowledge of financial markets and business
- especially in Asian markets
- Attention to detail and accuracy
