Experienced Project Engineer – Genetics, German Speaker

Role Overview

• Provide Implementation Services to our customers using Clinisys solutions.
• Deliver multiple tasks such as Business analysis, data architecture and Gap Fit Workshops, Configuration, unit testing and validation support.
• Work with the project manager (in the case of a project) or with the customer services manager, following their guidance and planning.
• Make proposals and identify technical risks, communicating them to the project manager.
• Prepare your actions, as well as relevant documents, if applicable.
• Ensure your work is properly documented in MIA.
• Deliver the project tasks assigned to you according to the project plan and budget to the satisfaction of our customers.
• Take full responsibility for all functional and/or technical aspects of the tasks assigned to you.
• Keep the project manager informed about the status of the tasks assigned to you.
• Demonstrate flexibility and undertake business trips to support clients on-site with project implementation.
• Manage and implement small projects or sub-projects.
• Carry out customer training.
• Act as the internal and external interface between the customer and development department.
• Organise and implement handovers (internal and external) in the context of project implementation.
• Carry out update and upgrade projects.
• Support the support department and coordinate with the Customer Services Manager.

Requirements

• Bachelor Degree or equivalent experience.
• Alternatively IT Technical training and experience in medical laboratory processes.
• Experience in the implementation of laboratory information systems.
• Experience with laboratory processes and organisation.
• Experience in the field of Genetics
• Knowledge of common IT applications Laboratory Information Systems (LIS) or Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS).
• Healthcare communication standards such as HL7, ASTM, IHE.
• Operating systems, networking, virtualization.
• Fluent in German and one second language (English, French or Dutch).
• Strong motivational skills
• Can deliver the tasks in difficult circumstances.
• High level of commitment and ability to take action when necessary.
• Inventive and solution oriented, hands-on and can-do attitude.
• Punctual and quality minded.
• Good communication skills: presentation, pedagogic and demonstration competencies.
• Ability to work both independently as in a team.
