Oversee accounting and finance activities for Italian subsidiaries with outsourced bookkeeping structure, with responsibility for internalizing the accounting function
Act as the main point of contact for the external accounting service provider in Italy, ensuring smooth cooperation and timely information flow
Review and validate financial data, reports, and deliverables provided by the outsourced accounting partner, with a later transition to full in-house responsibility
Prepare statutory financial statements
Prepare and review tax returns and tax calculations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable regulations
Collaborate closely with the Treasury team in Spain on cash management and financing-related matters
Support month-end and year-end closing processes
Actively participate in the NetSuite ERP implementation project, including testing and data migration
Ensure compliance with local regulations, internal controls and group reporting requirements
Identify opportunities for process improvements and support finance transformation initiatives
Provide administrative assistance to the team in operational and financial matters
Perform other ad-hoc duties
Requirements
Bachelor degree in accounting or similar discipline
Italian Chartered Accountant qualification (Dottore Commercialista) is required
5 years of experience in accounting / finance
Experience in preparing statutory financial statements and supporting reporting processes
Experience working with international entities and outsourced accounting structures
Hands-on experience or active involvement in ERP implementation projects (NetSuite experience is a strong advantage)
Excellent communicational skills
Native Italian language knowledge
Strong problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
Professional working proficiency in English
Highly organized, self-motivated and able to manage multiple priorities independently
Previous experience in the renewable energy sector is a plus.
