Identify, develop and manage new and existing business opportunities through continuous analysis of market trends, customer requirements and competitor activity
Provide technical support, product presentations and training to both customers and Schaeffler distribution partners
Develop and implement a regional sales strategy aligned with the Industrial Divisional Strategy
Regularly report regional sales performance, forecasts and action plans to the Industrial Sales Director
Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records within the Salesforce (CRM) system.
Requirements
3–4 years’ experience in a technical sales role
An HND or equivalent qualification in Engineering
Strong IT skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team
A proactive, self-motivated and professional approach with a strong customer focus
Strong negotiation skills, strategic thinking and the ability to build lasting relationships and networks
Flexibility to travel within the UK and overseas as required.
